In any one school, all pupils taking the tests must take each test at the same time, but the precise start time for the tests each day is at the school's discretion. The tests timetabled for each day may be taken in either the morning or the afternoon sessions. The tests timetabled for each day may be taken in a different order to the sequence shown, for example mathematics test A may be taken before the mental mathematics test. However, the writing test (shorter) and spelling test must be taken in the same sitting and in that order.
